As part of its Lunar Coin Series, the Royal Mint has developed the 2015 1/4 oz British Gold Sheep Coin, which is the first 1/4 oz gold coin in this series, and is available exclusively through JM Bullion. Today, you can own one of these 2015 1/4 oz British Gold Sheep Coins courtesy of JM Bullion in brilliant, uncirculated condition. These coins offer .9999 pure gold and weigh 1/4 troy ounce with a 25 Pound face value.
Although the coin does not have an official mintage, the first production run included only 5,000 total coins. We do not anticipate the total worldwide production exceeding 10,000 coins for the entire year. This gives the 1/4 oz Gold Sheep a significant benefit over a coin like the 1/4 oz Gold Eagle, which will have a significantly higher coin population for 2015.
